Ruby-Crowned Kinglet - a first on the bluff
/I have photographed a Ruby-crowned Kinglet before but never in my own yard. I certainly wasn’t expecting to see one when I was sitting on the front porch but there it was flittering around. It landed just across from me, providing this great opportunity for a shot in our Willow Tree.
Bonus - The Willow Tree is starting to show buds, I hadn’t noticed. Spring is starting to appear!

My Spirit Bird
/I just read that “Blue Heron are suppose to brings messages of self-determination and self-reliance. They represent an ability to progress and evolve”. I love this and had never read/heard them described this way before. I hope my photo feed shows my ability to progress and evolve in my photography skills. I am definitely determined to get better and watch many YouTube videos to assist me in this learning. Maybe the Blue Heron is my spiritual photography bird.

Lifer ~ Fox Sparrow
/Lifer for me.... Worked from home Monday and got a lifer in the front yard. Saw some rustling in the leaves outside the window so grabbed the camera and when this beautiful Fox Sparrow popped up in the tree I was able to get a few shots of it before it flew into the woods. Not a bad win for a work day!
