Eastern Wood-Pewee Takes Flight
/I haven't been shooting much. Life gets in the way but I did manage to catch this Eastern Wood-Pewee take flight in our yard this weekend.
We have several visiting this season and I love hearing them call to each other, with their sweet voices.
White-throated Sparrows
/Three of my favorite White-throated Sparrow captures from this past few months.
Hermit Thrush Visitor
/I’ve been loving watching and learning more about the Hermit Thrush this winter. I know they are a migrating bird & we are close to the line migration so not sure if this one will leave us soon or go deep into the woods for spring.
Spent quite a bit of time shooting this one as I try to learn the intricacies of my new camera. The OM-1 Mark II. So far loving it! For my type of photography it is game changing as it was designed for birding and other wildlife. Just a lot of new settings to learn.
Blue Jay on the Bluff
/A rare sighting in our yard actually, the American Blue Jay.
